Comments: Usually Gene?s lines are playable with pick or fingers but this
one almost has to be played with a pick for the right kind of attack. Here
Gene plays two-note chords during some figures and the striking of the pick
is hard to emulate with fingers. The line also requires some hand strength
to be able to hold down those chords. But man is it worth it. The G to C
thing in the verse is really heavy and it?s all thanks to Gene?s chords.
