Suggestion by Brett Paragow (Bretparago@aol.com)
On your site, you have the intro to Otis Redding listed as being off of a G 
barre chord.  I disagree and am fairly sure its the same rhythmic strumming 
pattern on the same strings but rather played off of an open chord G.
