tabbed by Pavel Doujnikov for
Slipknot - 3DBlasphemy (http://3dblasphemy.genxer.net)...
This is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard and it freakes me out every time
I hear it. Never the less, I spent a while trying to figure out what the hell is
that guy playing.. and well, I got it (at least its close!)... The whole song
is based around the nursery rhyme melody and the heavy riff at the end... Those
are the only two out there and while the heavy one is a typical Slipknot thing
to play, the nursery rhyme thingy is a very peculiar thing indeed. There is
also a small slide riff during verses. A cool thing to do when you play along with
the cd or your band is to play the heavy riff during the vesres...
The song becomes heavier and sounds cooler. The guys from Slipknot (Mick or James -
whoever played it) threw in a whole bunch of effects since their debut's album
version including chorus, delay and I guess the flanger is there too, so if you own
one of those multi-effects pedals, play around with em all, and have fun!!!
Tuning: 1 and a half steps down then drop D (B-F#-B-E-G#-C#)
